If She Only Knew
She wakes up in the morning, drags a comb across her hair
Her father says “Why bother, no one would take you anywhere”
So she bows her head to hide the tears, she thinks his words are true
But there’s so much more to her - if she only knew

She looks at her reflection in her plus size faded jeans
